I figured I should have checked the tyre pressures on the way home from purchasing the bike, but as usual with these sorts of things I was a lazy dick. I checked ’em today with a cheapass digital tyre pressure gauge I bought from Supercheap Auto and found they were at about half of what they were supposed to be - 22 / 27 front/back instead of 36 / 41!
Kids, if you have to nearly double your tyre pressure - there’s a reason your bum’s wiggling a bit around corners. 🙁
It feels a lot better now that it’s setup properly!
